When charged with offences, you may be given a notice to appear (NTA) or arrested and taken to the watchhouse where police may give you bail or oppose bail.

If the police oppose your bail, you must then apply for bail before a Magistrates Court. The court will consider the application for bail based on the nature of the offence, your personal circumstances and any other relevant factors.

At Quinn Law Group, our team of highly experienced Solicitors are here to provide you with the advice and direction you need in this time. Our Gold Coast Lawyers know what it is like in police precincts and understand all the timing, legal processes and other legalities surrounding bail.

For any queries or for representation contact our office and book a free consultation specifying your case so we can provide you with the best next steps.
